In the aspect of molding technology, extrusion molding technology is the mainstream method of molding wood-plastic composite products, mainly used to develop profiles, pipes, sheets and so on. With the diversification of wood-plastic products, such as wood-plastic multi-layer composite pipes, wood-plastic micro-foamed floors, the extrusion process has put forward higher requirements, and its research and development direction is multi-layer wood-plastic co-extrusion, coating co-extrusion, steel/wood co-extrusion, plastic/wood co-extrusion and so on.


Injection molding is mainly used for wood-plastic parts and automotive parts. The new trend of its development is the development of large-scale products and engineering plastics, such as ABS wood-plastic products.
